Responsible for production database support for a maximo system running on sqlserver 2000. Database design for in-house written web applications porting from coldfusion to .net. Most new environments are running on sqlserver and .net. Reconfigure backup and recovery of oracle and sql server databases and servers to utilize media manager backups using comquest. To date I have recovered over 2 terabytes of hard drive space from theses operations. Build master responsible for all production updates. Database websites and all other applications. SQL tuning, Performance tuning, Backup and recovery recommendations using RMAN and media managers Tivoli, Netbackup etc... UNIX installation and troubleshooting, Installation of our application. Responsible for Production databases over 500 gig in size in our ASP environment. Administration of a wide variety of Unix platforms to include HPUX, AIX, Solaris, Linux, BSD, DG-UNIX, VMS and tandem platforms. Shell scripting for various projects. Responsible for insulation of Operating systems software on these platforms. This is to include setup of clusters and HACMP environments. - |
